Didier Muller has over 40 years experience in R&D and material expertises by different industrial companies in polymers processing and composites manufacturing. In order to occupy his retirement time, he has created Polymers Insights, a consulting and expertise company.

He holds a PhD in Polymer Science by University of Lyon.

He is the president of the Scientific Comittee of Polymeris, and since 2025 he is also the president of the Composite area of Polyvia, the french trade association for plastics and composites. For these 2 functions he represent the the Clayens group
